I bought these for our front loading washing machine. Our laundry room is on the second floor, and it used to look like the washing machine was going to fly into space or crash onto the floor, so I bought these pads. Then they sat on the shelf for four months because my husband said we needed a lever or some kind of mechanism to get the puck high enough to get them underwater because we couldn't get the puck far enough for someone could slip through. there. I lifted the left front of the washer and slid Pad 1 underneath, then squeezed in between the two machines and slid Pad 2 under my right back leg. This supported the car diagonally and gave me leverage. I then dropped pad 3 next to the left rear foot, pressed the front right corner of the car to raise the rear left (physics!), swiped the pad under the foot before jumping out of the triangle between the cars and pad 4 placed under the right front foot. I put the car back in place (difficult because of course the pads interfere with the movement) and then also replaced the dryer. phew! I celebrated by running a light shoe with high spin on and I couldn't hear the machine hit the ground. The washing machine is certainly not silent, I still hear the mechanics and running water, but the friction on the floor is completely muffled.
