This was the best phone holder I have ever had. It holds securely and adjusts for regular use, and in my case it can be set to point the camera at the windshield if you need to document something in front of you. Holds with glue and screws. I didn't even try the glue as I didn't mind punching a few holes in the dash once I got to play around with it a bit and found that it can hold not only my current phone but most likely any phone I'll be into get future. . So I made it permanent so it wouldn't fall off. I've never seen glue stick in any car after the summer heat of over 110°C. This is a 2017 product upgrade and it still performs at its best, holds the phone tight and hasn't let me down once. However, keep in mind that this is the only block I've tried where I've screwed screws into the dash. So it's forever unless I leave a few holes. I've tried 5 other phone holders, mostly the ones that snap onto air vents. They all fail or fall apart or break.
