I took this bottle on a trip to New York this winter so I can take hot tea with me on my adventures around the city. My tea stayed very hot in this bottle for over 24 hours; I was and still am excited. I've been using it ever since and it keeps hot drinks hot all the time for an absurd amount of time and I've never had any leaks either. However, I have to say that when I first received it in the mail I felt it was a bit small (16 ounces). I've gotten used to it now and think it's a good size, but wouldn't mind going up a size. Two things to note: If you want the food to stay hot in this bottle for the maximum amount of time, you need to preheat it. That means pour boiling water over it, let it sit for a while, then pour out the water and pour in tea/coffee/whatever. Skipping this step will keep your drink hot for many hours, but not many hours. To avoid the possibility of leakage, open the cap, screw it onto the bottle, THEN close and latch the cap. So no air gets in.
