Faint, muted colors
Compared to some other LED Christmas lights I have out there, they're almost dark and the colors are muted, almost pastel. They burn, they have color but not a radiant appearance. The plug/power supply/function controller is not waterproof as mentioned, which is very important as Christmas lights often live outdoors, often in rainy weather. Not a deal killer for me, but not exactly a plus either. Overall I wish I hadn't bought them but they are still good enough to use until they fail.
