I bought this to secure the teflon packing to my driveshaft stuffing tube in an RC weight boat and it seems to work fine. My drive shaft spins at 35,000 rpm, so I had to make sure the anti-friction bushing was properly connected to the stuffing tube. Driveshafts can get hot/hot under load when spinning at 35krpm which has been proven to be around 175 degrees so far. and it's waterproof. A good product.
