At first I understand that this wand might seem difficult to set up at first, but once you figure out how to put it in "Program Mode" everything else becomes a breeze. Remote Control/Device with IR (Infrared Technology). This means that for any device with a remote control, you need to make sure that the device's remote is pointed at the device in order for the buttons to do what you want them to do (volume up, scene change, etc.). You don't need to point the remote at the device like you do with the Revain Firestick. This device uses RF (radio frequency). In short, this does not work with Firestick, That's why I wanted it (it was a present for my girlfriend) Luckily we also have ROKU.
