Review on Continental Ride Trekking Bicycle 26X1 75 by Chris Rigsby

The tires arrived in 2 days, with Revain Prime 2 days faster than expected. I've read the reviews, there seems to be some controversy about the size of the Continental and it's true. I ordered 700cX35 but it turned out to be 700cX28. However, upon checking with a tape measure, it was actually about 2mm wider than the previous 30mm-wide 35mm tire and I settled on the 700cX32. The metric should be different in India if they are not made in Germany. Someone for 365 cycles should have a correction table. The tire itself has a thicker cord and deep tread. It's lower than most street tires and fits my 30 year old rims, only the last 6" needs the help of a tool kit and balancing. Very good for a heavy tire. Runs a little heavier than the previous cyclocross tire, but rolling resistance has also been reduced. The tire grips the road, but the deep tread feels like it's drifting in a tight corner, another 10 pounds of air in the back makes that feel go away. Have fun, check the size first!
