2 complaints about these bits are false. These are inexpensive wood drill bits. One complaint was that the author couldn't "tap with a fingernail." Purchase a cobalt nozzle with a matching tip. Another complained that they didn't remove the chips well; Buy drills that cost more than this whole set. Today I installed an attic railing. I have used these bits to drill holes in 4x4 mahogany and 4x4 pine. I installed #14 x 3 and #9 x 3.5 screws. Perfect! I drilled an inch and unscrewed the bit to put it back out. The bits were flexible which was good but didn't break and were still in good shape. through 25 holes of each of the 2 bits
