Review on Metal Journal Stencil by Aleks Melnyk #3 - Flowers and Vines Ornament Vintage Finds. Ideal Stencil Template for Wood Painting, Wall Décor, and Furniture Crafts. by Hannah Curi

Fits all sizes of pen nibs without damaging them.

I now have two of these metal templates that I use primarily for my bullet magazine. The designs are wide enough on the inside that you can use them for a variety of purposes from journaling with a pen to using a wood burning tool, which I will try at some point. The designs do not distort due to the width, but make them easier to handle. I tried the plastic stencils commonly used for bullet journaling and found that the inner line width wasn't wide enough for many pen nibs, and I either messed up the pen nibs or wrote on the stencils. They are durable and I can use the edges for a clean ruler line. They didn't slip or roll at awkward moments of tracing, unlike plastic when too thin. The edges are smooth enough not to cut each other, which I know bothered some people. They are just a great stencil. I keep mine in the plastic sleeve it came in and tape it to the inside of my magazine cover. If you have expensive pens or use multiple types of pens, choose metal pens over plastic pens, you will not be disappointed.
