I didn't buy this because of hair loss, but because my dog's coat was very thin in some places, so thin that the skin showed through. He underwent several tests at his veterinarian and was found to have a genetic disorder similar to male pattern baldness. His hair is sparse on his temples, behind his ears, behind his legs, stomach and chest. In some places he lost so much fur in those places that he looked horrible. So I bought shed x in November 2020 and started using it every day. Finally, after such a long time, he has a very nice coat. I love this stuff and the only negative I have to say is that it drips out of the bottle every time I use it. I've just ordered another bottle and am thinking of adding a pump for ease of use. I would suggest the company also add a pump to solve the drip problem. ADDED NOTE: To help with the drips, I wrapped a folded paper towel face up around the bottle and secured with a rubber band. Drops don't penetrate the paper towel and the bottom of the bottle stays oil-free, as does my desk.
