I love the 27 inch monitor I bought for my work computer that I use at home. The stand is really solid and easily adjusts up and down and stays in place. The screen also rotates vertically. was set too high, but when I did that I saw more detail of the color/shade effect in the programs I was using. The colors, brightness and contrast make everything look really good. Your text is dictated by the graphics card and work computer I have. cheap means bad. I know the text could look better as my home computer has a better graphics card. The monitor has a small joystick on the right side of the back that you can use to access the settings. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. .The power switch is the 4th of 3 others plus an I/O switch on the back on the bottom. The power cord and DVI cable needed to fit more tightly into the jack and connector. The only downside would be the placement of the buttons , like naturally putting your hand on your side and touching it with your fingers when adjusting the height of the monitor, which I do several times a day when sitting in front of it. I paid about $150 for the monitor. It's inexpensive and you won't regret it. Just adjust the settings and you will be happy.
