Feel free to buy them! They are cool. I have to admit that the price seemed a bit crazy to me, but I'm now considering buying another set. The balls go with more things than I thought: my double wall steel thermos, mugs, glasses, etc. The balls last a long time. long and don't displace as much liquid as I thought, but the drinks stay ice cold. Pour to the line (the one raised above the inside of the mold, not the etched oval curved line), slowly insert the lid, pop in the freezer and you have perfect balls. I had no trouble pulling the balls out and they didn't break. I take the molds out of the freezer and either let them sit on the counter for a few minutes or pour water over them (including the top with a hole). The ice will come out easily. Place the pearl in the jar before adding the liquid. If you fill your glass before adding the scoop they will make a real "splash" and splash. Enjoy! Questions? Post and I'll get back to you.
