Cost effective blackout curtains

We live in older apartments that only provide vertical blinds, and my fiancé works the night shift. These are made of a soft and thick fabric, and the color I purchased is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. While I’m not an expert in blackout curtains, I’d say these are a minimum of 95% blackout, perhaps even 99%. Well worth it!
