It is practically the size of a soap dish when combined with the D3100, and examples of images taken with both can be found at Got pros: Sharp even at f/1.8, a focal length that is useful for cropping, portability, light weight, low cost, and an internal focus motor. Having these drawbacks: Bokeh that is not quite acceptable, chromatic aberration up to f/2.8 (which can be corrected in lightroom).
