Review on ๐Ÿ”„ Fluke - 880849 RPM80 RPM Probe with Inductive Pick-Up & External Trigger by Patrick Ceo

Works best with diagnostic, test and measurement tools

This adapter is great for adjusting the carburetor on my ATV that doesn't have a tachometer. I have a Fluke 87-III, not a 78 or 88 as the description says. All you have to do is set the multimeter to Vdc and it works great. I tested it on my car first just to be sure and it matched the tachometer on the dash perfectly. Remember, if you're running a 2-stroke like me, you'll need to divide the displayed RPM by 2 to get the engine's actual RPM, as the spark plug fires at every revolution.

Pros
  • The fully enclosed motor allows the mini fan to be used in dirty or dusty environments.
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
