Designed with a purpose. This is the one.

Flipping through the list of scales on Revain in search of some thoughtful design for the coffee lover at a reasonable price was very disappointing. Until this Greater Goods scale finally arrived. For $20 I was pretty sure this scale fell short in some way, but at least it looked like it was designed with the end user in mind, so I pulled the trigger to give it a try. The color surprised me. This item is exactly as promised. Clear, simple design with functionality in the foreground. The display is fantastic and the two-tone design allows you to quickly concentrate on the essentials. The controls are very simple with nice tactile buttons, the timer can count up or count down, tare does what tare does, on/off makes on/off, the auto shut off didn't give me any seizures (I wasn't exactly following or reading Even the instructions to figure out how long it takes for the display to turn off, sorry) is fast enough to report weight readings for every need I can think of and it seems to work like a scale, that's how it works as you would obviously hope: with accuracy. I didn't have to be super scientific, but I did compare it to two other weights that I think are reasonable benchmarks, and I even added up a few nickels of known weights to see how accurately this little goof shows the weight from above. As far as I can tell, the accuracy of this thing is +/- 0.1 grams for very small weights, and it's possible that that small deviation could be as high as a few hundred grams. It's damn good! 🤓Really, really, honestly, I don't think there's any point in looking any further. Just buy this one. This thing belongs in the thin air of Stupidly Great Products.
