I had a previous model of this model which I used on my first dog from 2007-2014 and a second dog 2017 to present. It stood up well and I've never had any problems with it. But it was starting to wear out, so I decided to order a new one. Compared to my previous one, this one is just normal. The front and sides are much shorter than my previous version and even though I have a dog of the same breed/size it just doesn't offer that kind of protection. The front/sides keep collapsing when she puts her front paws on it, which never happened with the previous one. The top strap is in a different location than the previous version, and the seatback just doesn't lie as flat and balanced as the previous version. I will continue to use it until I find the best I can research before buying. It always disappoints me when a supplier changes the quality of a product to lower the price.
