Perfect for the chin strap of a hat!
I received this cord to attach a chin strap to my sun hat after the original cord fell apart. It seems higher quality than the original cable and I don't have to adjust the bead as often because it provides enough friction to stay tight (the original was very slippery). Overall I am very satisfied and particularly pleased that I have enough left over for future replacements and/or jewelry making.
