So I got DSL via SBC (great service by the way) and since I have 3 PCs in my house we decided on a router. I chose Netgear primarily because of the Linksys name and not-so-great history compared to Netgear's historically outstanding quality. It's a great thing, works right out of the box (if you have cable, DSL, you'll need to provide your DSL username and password) and takes less than 3 minutes to set up, including the download wait time. I haven't dropped it in months and she's doing great. highly recommended.
