This lighter is just plain cool. No, it is not engraved on the lighter itself. There is a separate piece of metal with a pattern that they glue to the lighter. The wolves are tough (one had a face with a penis, which catches the eye quite often). The lighter works perfectly. The top wobbles a little when open, but most lighters wobble a little. It's not that noticeable. And that's really good, because Zippo has a good guarantee that takes this into account. They fix that jitter even if you're shipping it to fix some other problem. Zippo really cares about its customers and that's one of the reasons I recommend this product. The lighter works great with great design. I have received several compliments and offers to buy it from me. No thanks, those are my wooden wolves. Highly recommended. And no, it's not pre-filled with lighter fluid. This would be pointless as it evaporates meaning it will be pretty much empty by the time you get it.
