Review on Munchkin Aluminum Hardware Hallways Extends by Heather Reyes

I've been installing this for about a month and it's a great pet gate. It sits in a doorway with quite a bit of traffic and everything still works the same as when it was first installed. It's clear a lot of thought went into the design and so far it has solved any issues I've had with other kids and pet gates in the past. The price is higher than I was hoping for but it looks like it will last a lot longer than I'm used to so overall I'm very happy with it. Gate (we have a larger dog who found out pretty early on that he could just lean against the sliding gate to push it out of the way) and this had more of what I was looking for than any of the other options. I found. A determined (and creative) dog *can* open it at the right angle and pressure (once - failed the second time), so we definitely don't rely on that as the only barrier when it's all unattended. But that goes without saying. Cats have no problem jumping over it, which is fine for my purposes. I ended up following the video installation guide rather than the printed guide, which I highly recommend. Inserting into the mounts wasn't as easy as advertised. but that's because the door is uneven (and narrower at the top than the bottom) so it won't affect my score. It can be customized in almost any way possible - I'm very handy so I found it useful, but I can see it confusing for those who don't. I really appreciate that the locking plate and hinge don't reach all the way to the floor as we have fairly large baseboards.
