These vacuum bags are more durable than original Foodsaver bags, not to mention they're a lot cheaper. 100ft bags are cheaper than other 40ft bags. I have tried Walmart brand vacuum bags, although they are cheaper than the original bags, they did not seal well. There were always wrinkles in the fillings and I didn't hold the filling. These bags are less expensive and work great. They hold the seal and my Maxhine pulls air out with no problem. I have no problems with moisture absorption. In other bags, when I vacuum a hamburger or chicken, moisture always seeps into the seal, forcing me to wipe and double-seal, which usually loses some of the vacuum. There are no such problems with them. If you vacuum a lot, you will definitely want to buy these bags. They are 100% effective and worth every penny!
