I like that it is easy to use, even for my non-technical friends! It's also simple enough that we can customize all of our pages ourselves (we don't have an outside designer doing this). Some features are difficult or confusing to understand at first (like how you're supposed to add custom fields), but once you figure out what those options do they work really well. We've used other church websites in the past, so there was no learning curve with us on this one. If someone new comes into your office, it would be great if they could pick up where we left off! The main problem we had before using OO was keeping track of who did what. Now everyone knows exactly what their responsibilities are. And because everything has been digitized, we know when people come back from vacation too! Thanks to online tools such as Church Office Online, we now realize that having multiple people working on things doesn't make them less organized. Instead, it helps create more accountability by making sure we have a clear idea about projects/tasks. As long as we stay I love that you can create your own custom forms, reports and surveys for use in church! It's easy to use, and it is very customizable. Sometimes it is difficult to upload documents or pictures to the website. So sometimes we have to email them instead of just uploading them directly into the system. But other than that, everything was great. We've been able to keep track of our budget better, which has helped us make better financial decisions.
