Which begs the question, why would an adapter be needed that would connect an OBDII scanner that would normally be pin powered to an older, non-powered, non-powered OBDI scanner? auxiliary power supply? Not cool for people who might not know about it and just want to get some codes. Problem: Most if not all OBDII scanners don't have an auxiliary power input as they are usually plug powered which would make an auxiliary power supply unnecessary. So how exactly should this cable be used?
