Review on Akebono ACT822 Proact Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit: Superior Performance for Enhanced Braking Efficiency by Doug Powell

These brake pads offer much better stopping power, feel and performance than my last pads which came from a major brake manufacturer. They match the calipers perfectly and don't squeak or snap, but I put new rotors in so maybe that made a difference. Pads were beveled and machined to Mazda recommendations. The package includes gaskets and high temperature brake grease packed in foam to prevent damage. I liked them so much that I bought sets for another car and a minivan to have on hand when I need them. I wholeheartedly recommend them although they are more expensive than others and in this case you get what you pay for.
