Akebono ACT822 Proact Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Kit: Superior Performance for Enhanced Braking Efficiency Review

I put another German name brand brake pads on my Prius but they squeaked, jingled when reversing and were generally noisy somewhere. My OEM brake pads have never made a noise. On the good advice of a mechanic I bought these Akebono pads. I'm thrilled, these pads work really silently!

This was my first set of Akebono pads, a friend suggested I try it. i am sold In over 2 months of use I have not noticed any brake noise and have noticed a significant reduction in brake dust compared to the pads I replaced. These are great pads for everyday use, including on the road.

These brake pads offer much better stopping power, feel and performance than my last pads which came from a major brake manufacturer. They match the calipers perfectly and don't squeak or snap, but I put new rotors in so maybe that made a difference. Pads were beveled and machined to Mazda recommendations.
