Driving home from work one day, I lost all energy and saw smoke coming out of the back of my 1992 Jeep Cherokee. I thought the worst and I was 25 miles from home. I pulled over, turned off the engine and popped the hood. Expecting a smoldering radiator or an overheated engine, I discovered that the factory connection fitting between my radiator and transmission was defective. I reassembled the hoses and refilled the transmission only to find that the hoses were now leaking. I've since reconnected the hoses to these fittings and they've been working fine ever since - no leaks and definitely no blowouts since!
