I love this red Ameriluc bulb. The lamp emits a nice cozy pink light (not too red) and is reasonably priced. Red light is healthier than white or blue light. (Research from the NIH and others shows that repeated exposure to white or blue light can eventually lead to macular degeneration and vision loss. In addition, white or blue light damages skin collagen.) Ameriluck's red bulb is in the Nanometer range in the safe area. And I like that this pear is unbreakable. I bought a large number of these lamps. I've recently installed almost all of the bulbs and so far I haven't had any problems with any of them. And it's good to know that the seller offers a 2-year guarantee. I am very grateful to Suni (seller representative) who provides excellent customer service! Before purchasing, I sent the seller a series of letters with detailed questions about this light bulb. (I'm sure I drove her crazy)! But Suni was very patient and quickly answered all my questions. I have always received a response within a few hours (sometimes instantly).
