I was pretty happy with this router until it died suddenly last night during a raid (we're playing World of Warcraft). I'm sorry to say that (a) it only had a one year warranty and (b) the warranty only expired four months ago. D-Link would be happy to help me troubleshoot if I'm willing to pay for it - thanks but no thanks. My cable company worked with me for free and we fixed everything except the DGL-4500 itself as the cause of the problem (the router couldn't connect to the cable modem and got stuck in offline mode). Many other wireless router manufacturers offer a 3 year or even limited lifetime warranty, so I won't be buying another D-Link until they catch up with their competitors in terms of product support. In short, if you don't mind paying a higher price, this was a cute little router with good wired performance and so-so wireless range. I personally will look elsewhere.
