This handle can be dangerous for your pup

It assembles easily and I have no problem with it falling apart as others have complained but it has one very serious flaw. As soon as I put my 9 week old Lab there, his paw got stuck between the plastic gate posts. Luckily I freed his paw right away but it definitely hurt him and he squeaked a lot. I fixed it by putting gorilla tape where they connect, but if they just overlap and interlock or something it wouldn't be a security issue.
