Review on ZC GEL Rug Grippers for Hardwood Floors (8 pcs), Anti Slip Rug Grippers - Non Curling & Washable - Reusable Non-Trace Removable Eco-Friendly Carpet Gripper for Tile Floors, Carpets, Floor Mats - Black by Joshua Huan

Not for fibre/jute backed carpets.

Generally a disappointment. On the other hand, the handle sticks to the vinyl floor. Unfortunately, the side designed to stick to the underside of the rug only works if the rug has a rubber backing. The handle side of the rug does not adhere well to the fiber or jute backing. You can turn the carpet over to fix the handles and press firmly for 20-30 seconds. You seem stuck. Turn the rug over to lay it on the floor and the handles will fall off the rug slightly before you can lay it on the floor. If you're lucky and the handles stay attached when you lift the edge of the rug to peel off the plastic wrap and reveal the adhesive side for the floor; peeling off the film lifts the gripper off the carpet. The coated paper sheet covering the handles on the carpet side is also a problem. I bought 2 boxes, 4 handles per box. Only one sheet of one box came off properly, the other 3 could only be removed by pulling and stretching the handles like a rubber band. In the 2nd box, 2 out of 4 sheets came off correctly. Luckily, the stretched handles are back to their normal size and shape. Basically I couldn't use the grips on the heavier 2 foot by 5-6 foot rugs I had. I saved them and used them on two small bath mats with a sticky rubber backing for added protection. I will not buy these grips again. Hoping to find something better that matches standard carpet fiber construction.
