I have tried several similar sized sand anchors and this is the best. The dog shank sand screw is small and easy to drive into the sand, but is virtually useless in terms of grip. .-The large yellow plastic screw-in tipped snap anchor held up well, but was huge (about the size of a real 20ft boat anchor, even unassembled) and took forever to screw in and out of the sand. The Waverx anchor is really small and light (fits easily in Seadoo Spark's tiny PWC storage case), takes only a few seconds to step into the sand (and pulls out just as easily) and holds up very well for its size (requires a really strong adult to pull it out horizontally). The manufacturer was also very responsive and helpful, answering emails multiple times in the same day.
