Not 1.75 " mounting holes like one answered questioneer states, 1.5 "

Looked in the questions section and someone said the hole spacing was 1.75 inches but that is incorrect they are 1.5 inches. As I am replacing an existing handle, the holes don't match and I have to return. That said it looks like a sturdy product.

Pros

Worked perfectly for my Triton snowmobile trailer front hatch

Cons

Tension nut breaks off as soon as you try to tighten it down.
