The lock is smaller than expected, a bit fiddly to lock and unlock and (seriously) it doesn't fit my Lenovo X220 laptop case when fitted. Because it doesn't sit flush, the inserted piece that connects the lock to the laptop is visible and moves a bit, making it weak and vulnerable. I'm not sure how easy it would actually be to break it, but looks like it might be worth a try (if you're interested in stealing my laptop). Which kind undermines the main purpose of this gadget. In comparison, I had an earlier, slightly larger and stronger laptop lock with a similar design, which was firmly in place and had no break-in point (I made the mistake of giving it to someone who needed this item more than I did at the time). He inspired confidence and caused me no discomfort.
