Two bad reviews made me order this set but I think it was user error on their part. It works great. Take a mandrel slightly larger than your bearing (there are two different sizes), remove the nut, washer and bushing. Use a rubber mallet and tap the rod through the bearing. Replace bushing, washer and nut. Hold a 5/8" open ended mandrel and tighten the 1-1/8" closed ended nut. The warehouse is coming out immediately. The base plate is designed for bearing mounting which has two different ends of bearing mounting. Install the base plate, thread the bolt through the plate, align the correct end of the bearing with the appropriate hole in the cylinder block and tighten securely.
