My daughter was 11 months old when I bought this little VTech laptop. She loves using our electronics so I decided to give her something of my own and VTech has always been our favorite brand. This laptop did not disappoint. It's very interactive and although my daughter didn't quite understand the games, she loves listening to the characters talking and the sounds made when the keys are pressed on the keyboard. In my opinion the laptop is ideal for older toddlers around the age of 2 who can better understand the concept of play to get the most out of the product. HOWEVER, it's very, very durable (my daughter is just learning her "throwing" skills) and the battery life is excellent, so it's fair to say this product will be in our house for quite some time. Because of this, she will be able to enjoy it as she gets older. Games are educational by nature: they teach spelling, music, and various other subjects useful for young children's exploratory development.
