I've been wearing socks for about 3 weeks now and I don't wear them every day as I still prefer the breathability of organic cotton socks during the consistently humid Northern Virginia summers (100 degrees Fahrenheit). . . 32 degrees Celsius). First, they use Japanese Yamamoto number 38 material, which makes the sock easy to put on like a good glove. Second, they have aramid fibers in the outsole that offer some heat and cut resistance (aramid fibers are found in Kevlar, which is used in the military for bulletproof products). lol it's not bulletproof, i'm just giving a simple metaphor. In addition, they added neoprene, which seems to be the main fiber of the sock, and nylon woven into it. Neoprene handles cold water well and I use it to store electronics like my laptop and other small electrons in my neoprene laptop bag for added drop protection and its sooooo soft material. Unfortunately no organic cotton or soft bamboo. I give coffee for the reason I don't wear it all the time because it can get incredibly hot very quickly so I'm looking forward to fall and winter to test them out which will probably make them my everyday wear for 85% of the time Time.
