When this kettle works, it works well, unfortunately, it does not like to work stably. The controls don't work very well. It can't set the temperature, and when it does, it sometimes goes into soak mode and sometimes it doesn't. I usually have to do this twice to check in and finally get into seep mode. Even then, sometimes the bleed mode just resets and clears. The pot is easy to clean and when it works I have nothing to complain about. I may have come across a buggy model, but just heating water for tea can be very frustrating.
