Slices semi-hard cheese and does it well.

Excellent cheese slicer. That is hard. The reel is durable and adjustable. It comes with an extra wire. Good for slicing semi-hard cheeses like cheddar. According to the instructions, not suitable for hard cheese. Someone said it discolored their cheese. The roller has a coating. Rinse well before use.
