Review on K&N Premium Oil Filter: Engine Protection for Select CHEVROLET/OLDSMOBILE/CADILLAC/SAAB Models (List of Compatible Vehicles in Product Description), PS-7003 by Brian Weese

I have used K&N products for many years; They have a solid reputation for quality USA made products. This is the second time I have bought this filter from Revain. I was so happy that I could buy a K&N for about the same price as a Chinese Fram filter, I was happy. The one I bought earlier was made in the USA with metal tips and looked like it was made by people who care about quality. The new one is made in Korea and looks like a cheap imitation of its predecessor. It's plastic, it has 4 visible spots where the ends connect to the middle, it just looks cheap like it came out of a scratching post (see my photos). I think I will have to buy from another company.
