Good for privacy on decals and window films

I live in a small apartment which unfortunately has a lot of people walking by my bedroom window and for some reason people don't think "hey this is a man house" and actually pushes his face to the window. (Admittedly, we usually see our cat because she's so damn pretty. Random people knocked on my door to tell us how pretty she was, and I'm pretty sure the little furry devil knows.) How anyway, it was a lifesaver for me and my husband. Looks the same as in the photo. (And I've attached a picture) It's pretty easy to put on, although it's a bit tricky because it wants to "stick" to a wet window when I'm still busy positioning it. The light goes through well. Because I was paranoid that people would see me at night, I asked my husband to see if they could see me from the other side at night when the lights were on in our bedroom, and no! Just a faint silhouette as I leaned against the window, but no detail. In the morning it creates really cool rainbows in the room which are great to wake up to and overall I can't recommend it more highly. We actually only ordered more for the kitchen windows (we're in the last apartment that everyone walks past to get to the garbage, so again - lots of foot traffic.) And it made the whole apartment that much brighter because we don't do Now we must close the blinds for privacy! And even better - it causes no damage, which every renter needs! However, I will say that I had trouble with the edge at the "end" (or middle) of the roll because it wanted to curl. When sealing the problematic curl with tape for a few days, it helps.
