Provides good shade

I love this product and think it will be a useful item for the RV community and can also be modified for use on the patio of the house. The weight and quality seems good and the shade was excellent. It seemed to strike a good balance of letting light through but also providing shade. It doesn't block all the light. I was using it to attach to a Class A motorhome awning. I found it quite difficult to attach and I was concerned that any gust of wind would cause the awning to retract automatically, thereby pinching the curtain and its attachment cords. My awning is very high and I had to use a large ladder to secure it and when the wind picked up I had to climb the ladder in windy weather. For these reasons, it is difficult to use. It's really not the product's fault. The product itself is good, but it may seem situational to you. When it was attached to my awning, the shade was about 3 feet off the ground. I didn't find this a problem as the sun wasn't low enough to shine underneath. One improvement I'd welcome for this product: a free standing, lightweight frame with mounting bars that could be collapsed for storage, so I don't need a ladder and don't have to worry about the curtain snagging the awning's hands. when the awning rolls up in a gust of wind. Price vs Value: It's a bit pricey in my opinion. However, please note that this corresponds to a niche market. I hope they can lower the price as sales go up.
