Review on TEKTON WRN77164 Flex Head Ratcheting Wrench by Francisco Taylor

I bought both sets of these (SAE and metric) and one head per wrench did not have a locking ring so the mechanism fell out in transit. Tekton have really improved their quality and they've made their return policy even more user-friendly, so I've decided to buy a bunch of Tekton items. I have a tool that wasn't well machined and polished but worked fine. I have this wrong key. I also received LOTS of tools which were perfect and put a lot of stress on my vehicles for hours. I guess I'm kind of a Tekton fanboy now. ;-) That one key, which arrived incorrectly fitted, was replaced by Tekton three days later. DO NOT return items through Revain. This takes too long and the whole set has to be sent back. Call Tekton or visit their website. When you call, you're talking to a real person. they will take care of you You email this person a picture of a broken instrument. They will send you a replacement the same day, even at the end of the day. Aside from that single head on the same wrench they were perfect, with excellent workmanship, polish and finish. All ratcheting mechanisms work very well. The length is great and gives the user more torque than GearWrench's much shorter pieces. Are the internals better than GearWrench? I do not know. However, since I can inspect the Tekton tool from the normally soldered inside, I can say the mechanism is well constructed. If the quality of the steel parts is high, they will serve me for many years. So far I am very satisfied with these ratchet wrenches. I'm also very pleased that Tekton solved my only problem very quickly, no questions asked, and completely free of charge. Great job guys! Highly recommended!
