
This pizza stone helps our oven on wheels heat up quickly, keep the temperature constant and bake evenly! Our Van oven only had one wreck, so we bought another one to put a rock on top of and placed under the original oven rack, closest to the heat source. I wrapped the pizza stone in foil to keep it clean. Food cooks faster, more evenly and still no burnt cakes or food! Next I bake cookies. I think it will be great! Remember never to put utensils on ceramic dishes! Direct contact/heat can damage it! We've never used it for pizza, but I'm sure it works great!
