Of course, any product can fail, and this one hit it. I hooked up a 48A stove as the only short throw (less than 15 feet). I've used the oven 3 times and now the breaker kicks on after a few minutes. I measured 49.5A on one side and 50.2A on the other side of the breaker. Not even close to the 60A rating. I noticed a slight humming noise when turning the oven on, but I didn't attach any importance to it. Now I'm not sure if that wasn't an early sign of impending failure. Now I have to decide if I should get another one or try to find another brand. Unfortunately there aren't many options.
