The cold air intake was relatively easy to fit but luckily I don't have to clean the filter too often as it is quite difficult to remove for cleaning. The mileage increase should pay for the product within 20,000 miles, so it's worth it for that alone, not to mention that you'll probably be buying two regular air filters in that time. My biggest gripe, however, is the sound, as it's a fairly low-pitched growl. I wouldn't mind on a truck or sports car, but I do on a Ford Flex. You don't hear the typical louder air intake noise that I'm used to from cold air conversions. Instead, you make a pretty loud, low-pitched growl every time you step on the gas.
