The RMT-17 works and arrived a day early. Upon inspection, I noticed that the battery cover design has changed, and the changes appear to be positive. The one that came with the TV had a very thin lid. I only had the original remote for a few days before the clips on the lid broke. I used a remote with a glued lid, but at some point the remote stopped working. I think I will use this remote for the life of the TV. Before ordering this remote from Revain, I also spoke to Westinghouse support. They suggested that I replace the remote control with the exact same design as the one that broke. They wanted $26. This one from Revain cost $11 and was modified and shipped via Revain Prime. I am happy with the purchase.
