I use my miter saw to cross cut wood, big surprise. Things like baseboard trim, 2x4 house remodeling, and some woodwork. I haven't used many blades so I don't have much to compare to, but I was annoyed by the yellow paint on the teeth of the DeWalt blade. that came with my saw. It rubbed my cuts. This blade is red, but the teeth are unpainted - leaves no marks. The teeth are wider than the blade so they don't rub on the ends of the workpieces. So far I have used this on soft pine (lumber and offcuts) and it has worked well. I also cut some walnut and oak - moderately hard wood but nothing special. So far, so good. I cut slowly and keep the blade clear of sawdust. No burn marks, no other problems. There are other better blade brands out there. They cost a lot more. For the price this was a pretty good blade for the last month or two that I've been using it. I can't comment on the durability yet as I haven't used it for so long. I'll try to update this later when I use it for a few more months.
