high performance blade!

I didn't realize how dull my original blade was until I put the Diablo on. Cut a large skirting board like butter! I would buy a replacement blade for Diablo again at any time. 44 teeth is just right, won't splinter wood and leaves a nice clean cut.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I really don't like it, it's ok

Arbor too big for my Dewalt Miter Saw

I find that most miter saws use a 5/8" arbor. This is 1" Spacers required. I made my own but they sell them. Mine In my opinion it should be complete with a blade, I wasn't aware it wasn't or that the mandrel size was different until I tried replacing the blade.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Great blade for saws, parts and accessories

I use Freud's saw blades on all my saws and this is just as good as the general purpose blade I use on my 10" miter saw . It doesn't make totally clean cuts and I have to use a sacrificial board under the board I'm cutting to avoid tearing completely, but it's still better than any other blade I've tried on my 12" miter saw.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

As always excellent quality from Diablo!

Like every other Diablo blade, this is the highest quality blade money can buy (at least the ones I've tried in my 10 years as a carpenter), razor sharp and very accurate . I've always been amazed at how fast this thing goes through a piece of wood compared to the factory blade that usually comes with the saw.

Pros
  • A pleasure to use
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

These are the best saws

I will never buy another saw again. These are the best cutting knives. It's like slicing softened butter. Also, there are no frayed, split edges on the back. The cuts are even and clean. After using one my son bought, I replaced the blades on my 10" cutoff saw, 12" miter saw, and 7" rigid hand saw. You are so good!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Doesn't matter! Soft, sharp and quiet!

What a difference! Day and night this blade is even different than the high end blades I have used from other big name brands (Dewalt). I immediately noticed that the saw runs quieter without a load. This is due to small lines cut into the kerf to eliminate vibration. The fact that the kerf is thinner than a traditional blade significantly eliminates resistance when cutting through the workpiece. Carbide teeth chew like a dream. After buying one for my circular saw, I immediately switched to…

  • Very good price

The slot is too thin for big 45 degree angle cuts

Today I tried to make some test cuts on a 2x4 pine using a Ridgid table saw. Cut with almost no resistance. The blade is evenly balanced. I was impressed at $35. Without tears. Most blades work well initially, so we'll see how well they cut after a few months. I only use it for framing wood. More than enough for that. I have been working with wood for over 20 years and have tried many blades. This one looks good out of the box. I have a good feeling about it. Update: The blade is too thin for…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons

ALWAYS A PERFECT CUT

Freud Diablo saws have been my choice for many years. I'm not a professional carpenter, just a retired home builder who uses a couple of saws and loves the smell of sawdust. These blades take years to wear out. I use this particular blade on a 12 inch rigid miter saw that weighs 68 pounds. The beauty of this blade is its versatility. Smooth, precise cuts can be achieved by alternating between delicate shapes for her bookshelves and large 4x6 pressure cut logs for my barns. This eliminates the…

  • handy item

Good solid blade suitable for power tools and hand tools

I use my miter saw to cross cut wood, big surprise. Things like baseboard trim, 2x4 house remodeling, and some woodwork. I haven't used many blades so I don't have much to compare to, but I was annoyed by the yellow paint on the teeth of the DeWalt blade. that came with my saw. It rubbed my cuts. This blade is red, but the teeth are unpainted - leaves no marks. The teeth are wider than the blade so they don't rub on the ends of the workpieces. So far I have used this on soft pine (lumber and…
