Pretty decent for a budget soundbar. The sound is clear, there are 3 preset equalizer settings. The bass can be a bit overwhelming as I live in duplex and don't want to upset my neighbors, but the preset EQ is decent enough to squeeze out the most without sacrificing overall sound quality. We have a 12 year old TV and its age is definitely taking its toll on the built in speakers so we looked for a budget option with an optical connection. This meets all of our requirements. My only issue is the volume control, it's not very subtle so there are big jumps when the volume is turned up or down. It's like going in increments of 1 to 10 instead of 1 to 100.
